Cornerstone Christian School is an established state-integrated co-educational Area School in Palmerston North providing non-denominational Christian special character education in the Manawatu. We have achieved success in educational excellence and spiritual development of our students from years 1-13 with a staff of over 100 and a current maximum role of 610 pupils. Our school has modern facilities with space for future growth.

We are looking for a gifted and innovative leader of deep Christian faith and conviction to guide our school and community into the future. A successful applicant will have:

• The ability to communicate with, motivate and inspire others in the school community.

• A strong background in providing educational excellence across all aspects of learning.

• A commitment to excellence in student achievement and engagement in learning.

• Ability to build and lead a team through collaboration.

• A desire to see teachers and students develop and achieve to their full potential in God.

• A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and eagerness to incorporate our special character into all areas of learning.

You will be supported by great staff, an experienced Board, and an effective Proprietor.

This is a tagged position. A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the school and uphold the Special Character shall be a condition of employment.
