SCHOOL OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Part-time (8:30am - 3:30pm), Term-time only
Reporting to the Executive Assistant and Principal
Westminster Christian School is based in Unsworth Heights on the North Shore. Our maximum roll is currently 400 students. We have a staff of approximately 35. We are one big whānau and treat each other as such. The reception is a busy area and is the face of our school.
Our Office Administrator covers reception, helping parents and visitors with any queries. The admin team work closely and is made up of the Office Administrator and Executive Assistant and are supported by the Principal when needed. The ability to juggle many tasks whilst maintaining an organised space are essential.
First point of contact in reception
Answering phones, emails and walk-in queries
Welcoming families and parents in person
Tackling general administrative tasks
Managing our absentee system
Overseeing the sick bay
A strong desire to meet/exceed our administration needs.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to cope with demands from several directions with patience
Proven experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs helpful.
Administrative duties for Tuck Shop
The successful applicant must be willing to support our Biblical World View appropriate to the School's Special Character.
