We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative NZ registered kaiako who shares our passion for quality Christian education and is ready to guide our youngest learners as they embark on their educational journey.  The successful candidate will be able to build sound relationships with ākonga and whānau, and expertise in structured literacy, P.E or Te Reo would be highly valued.

We are seeking someone with an up-to-date pedagogy on the transition to school and effective organisational and communication skills. Please outline key areas of strength you would bring to this position.

This role may include the opportunity for a leadership position in leading our Ikuna (junior) Team. Remuneration for taking on the extra responsibilities associated with the leadership role includes management units and classroom release time.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Primary Teachers' Collective Agreement. Individual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed, determined by the applicant's qualifications and experience.

In accordance with Section 65 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, and the School’s Integration Agreement, the requirements for this position include:

  • A willingness and ability to take part in religious teaching appropriate to the ‘special character’ of the school

  • A willingness, ability and acceptance to uphold and preserve the ‘special character’ of the school.
