SENIOR SCHOOL PE TEACHER (with other subject strengths)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior School PE Teacher starting 28 January 2025.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 1823 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Effectively engaging with and teaching PE to students in Y11–13 (may also involve some Year 9-10 lines)
Contributing to the departments academic process and achievement
Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff
The successful applicant will
Connect well with, and thrive on imparting their knowledge to Year 11-13 students
Have NCEA experience
Be able to show strengths in other subject areas
Enjoy effectively partnering with parents
Enjoy working collaboratively
Have a desire to grow their professional capacity
