Permanent | Full-Time (1MMU and 1MMA and 240 mins release time)

We are a high achieving, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 1720 students, 620 in the Primary School. Our mission; “To be a Christian community of learning that nurtures young people towards their full potential as servant leaders in the Kingdom of God”.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative.

Our Primary School (Junior Campus) is located in Millwater on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast.  Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity exists for a permanent, full time Head of Learning for Year 1 starting in Term 1 of 2024.  

The role of the HOLA is:

• Pedagogical and teacher practise oversight (assessment, planning, student data, etc.)

• Ensure ongoing collaboration across teams  

• Pastoral care for staff and students in team, incl. L2 discipline 

• Grow leadership capability within the team 

• Embed the KingsWay Collaboration Framework 

• Create an environment where student and staff strengths can flourish 

• Champion the language, vision and values of KingsWay School
