SENIOR SCHOOL DANCE & DRAMA TEACHER

We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity to join our team as a Senior School Dance and Drama Teacher starting 28 January 2025. There is some flexibility in the length of term with the option of one term or the full school year. This role is fixed term to provide cover for an existing staff member taking leave. 

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 1823 students.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako. 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Effectively engaging with and teaching Dance and Drama to students in Y11–13

• Contributing to the departments academic process and achievement

• Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff

• Have NCEA experience

• Enjoy effectively partnering with parents

• Enjoy working collaboratively

• Have a desire to grow their professional capacity
