TEACHER EDUCATOR, Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary
0.8 FTE | Fixed Term

Bethlehem Tertiary Institute is seeking a passionate and experienced NZ primary educator to teach within the Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary programme in Tauranga.  You will be working in initial teacher education and engaging in research related to teaching and learning.

You will be aligned with BTI’s mission, vision, and values.

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A Masters’ degree, be working towards a Masters’ degree, or willing to begin a Master's degree.

  • Recent experience teaching within a New Zealand primary school.

  • Strong NZ curriculum and pedagogical knowledge.

  • A commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive, and faith-based practices.

  • To be a registered New Zealand teacher with a current full Practising Teacher Certificate.

  • A passion for supporting people to be and become great teachers.
