ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
Permanent | Part Time
10 hours per week | 43 weeks per year

Bethlehem College is a non-denominational, co-educational Christian College (Y1 -13).  Staff enjoy excellent modern resources and fine facilities.  The College's emphasis is on applying Biblical principles to all aspects of school curriculum and life.  An undertaking to commit to the College's Special Character is a condition of all appointments.

We have established a reputation for providing quality all round Christian education.  Christian thought and practice are integrated across the curriculum, which is broad based and includes excellence in academics, sports, the performing arts and the shaping of moral leadership and service.

We are currently seeking a permanent, part-time, individual to join our team as Assistant Registrar, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in promoting the College and the recruiting of prospective students

  • Collaborate with college staff to provide a quality registrar service

  • Accurate data entry of student information

  • Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure accurate and efficient registration processes

  • Process student enrolment applications

  • Prepare and maintain reports related to student records

  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education’s regulations

 Key Qualifications and Skills:

  •  Post Secondary Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field

  • Previous experience in an administration or an educational setting

  • A strong sense of calling and willingness to fully commit to the special Christian character, mission, and vision of Bethlehem College

  • Commitment to a life sustained by a vital Christian faith, permeated with Christian virtues, devoted to studying God’s word and prayer

  • An active involvement in local Christian fellowship

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience in student information systems desirable (however training will be provided)

Remuneration: 
Grade 2 (Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement)
